We use technology to allow us to more effectively manage the voluminous documentation exchanged in even the simplest of cases. Technology allows us to more quickly and efficiently provide information to clients and the Court. We maintain a database of briefs and court forms which allows us to use previously created documents to reduce the cost to our clients.

We use Apple Macintosh computers for the stability of the Unix-based operating system, relative safety from viruses, and the creative software available for use in settlement and litigation. We use Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, Entourage (e-mail), and Powerpoint which are fully compatible with Windows versions of the same software. In addition, we are able to open Wordperfect and many other documents through MacLinksPlus translation software.

All of our attorneys have laptop computers to allow us to work wherever necessary.

Through the use of scanners we are able to quickly and inexpensively provide documents to clients, opposing counsel, and the Court as needed.

The use of digital copiers allows us to quickly produce copies of documents from discovery responses, to motion documents, to trial exhibits and beyond, while scanning them to allow for easy retrieval.

We perform multiple back ups of our computer files to minimize and prevent the loss of any vital data that could occur as a result of computer malfunctions, fire, or natural disaster. The files are backed up instantaneously as documents are created and then on a daily basis to our server. On a weekly basis, the files are backed up to an off-site server.

We are constantly upgrading our systems and knowledge of technology.
