This ties in with the Early Case Management (ECM) approach of the Ramsey County District Court.

In Ramsey County the parties and attorneys meet with the judge (or referee) assigned to your case in a matter of a few weeks after filing of a case.  The judge also assists the parties and attorneys in identifying approaches to resolving the case, including Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE), mediation, arbitration, moderated settlement conferences, or other approaches to resolving the issues early.
