Divorce attorneys serving families in all areas of Hennepin County, including Minneapolis, Bloomington, Minnetonka, Edina, Plymouth, and St. Louis Park

At Tuft & Arnold Law Offices, we understand that divorce can be one of the most difficult experiences you will ever have.  We are committed to walking you through every step of the process to reduce the stress and confusion you might otherwise experience.

Our attorneys and staff have combined experience of over 50 years in the areas of divorce and related family law issues, such as:

* custody
* child support
* spousal maintenance (alimony)
* parenting time (visitation)
* paternity
* property
* asset division
* adoption
* interstate/international divorce
* domestic violence

Our attorneys use a team approach for your divorce or other family law case.  In most cases, at least three members of the firm, (partner, associate attorney, and paralegal) are assigned to your case. The team-based system ensures that someone is almost always available to talk to about your case.  In addition, it keeps your fees lower because it allows for work to be assigned to the appropriate team members.  Our team approach allows you to have timely, thorough, and cost effective representation.

Because our attorneys regularly handle divorces in Hennepin County District Court, we are familiar with the unique approach used in Hennepin County District Court.  Hennepin County uses Early Case Management (ECM) in order to encourage settlement, minimize expense, and prevent cases from going to trial, unless absolutely necessary.  We are also familiar with typical custody and parenting time (visitation) arrangements commonly used in Hennepin County.  For example, Hennepin County District Court is more open to joint custody and flexible parenting time arrangements than other courts.

Tuft & Arnold Law Offices is committed to helping clients resolve their divorces and other family court matters out of court as much as possible.  We encourage our clients to participate in dispute resolution approaches, including Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE), mediation, arbitration, and the collaborative divorce law process, if appropriate.  Staying out of court and away from litigation reduces the financial and emotional cost of a divorce.  However, when necessary, we are fully prepared to assist you through the litigation process, including trial and appeal.

If you are considering a divorce in Hennepin County or anywhere in the Twin Cities metro area, please call us at (651) 771-0050 to schedule a consultation.
