The attorneys and staff at Tuft & Arnold, PLLC understand that people rarely contact an attorney for positive reasons. Most of our clients have had little or no contact with the justice system, so we attempt to make the process as painless as possible by providing some helpful advice:

Communication: We strive to be as responsive to our client’s calls and e-mails as possible. It is our policy to return telephone calls within 24 hours. However, due to trials and the large number of calls we receive, it is not always possible. We encourage our clients to have as much contact as possible with our paralegals and other support staff. Paralegals are extremely helpful in assisting you with a wide range of your needs. Under the ethical rules governing attorneys, as well as state law, non-attorneys cannot offer legal advice. If you have a question about strategy or requiring legal advice, please contact one of the attorneys. If you want to schedule an appointment, check on the status of a document, or address billing concerns, please contact one of our paralegals.

Therapy: While we are aware of the emotional toll a divorce can take, we are not trained to deal with the emotional stress that very often affects clients. We encourage all of our clients to seek the services of a counselor or support group. (See our RESOURCES page)
