Thomas Tuft and Scott Rodman Named to SENE Roster
February 2010: Thomas Tuft and Scott Rodman have been named to the inaugural roster of neutrals for the Ramsey County Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE) program. This new approach to resolving disputes over custody and other child related issues has experienced a high success rate around the State of Minnesota. Under this approach a male-female team of experienced family law attorneys and psychologists meet with the parents and their attorneys to hear about the family and make recommendations as to custody, parenting time, and other parenting issues. Most cases are resolved in one or two three-hour sessions.  The process can save the parties thousands of dollars in legal fees and avoid the need for an expensive custody evaluation. In addition, by avoiding acrimonious battles up front, parents are more likely to be able to resolve disputes that come up down the road, saving the parents legal fees and reducing the burden on our overcrowded courts.
